Tech News: The New LG VX9800 AIO Cellphone!

"Quick Take: The snazzy-looking new LG VX9800 brings a wealth of features to Verizon Wireless customers, the most prominent being support for 3G EV-DO data speeds and access to Verizon's multimedia V Cast network. The phone is pricey at $349, but you can find it cheaper with service.

The dual-band (CDMA 800/1900) phone mimics the innovative design of T-Mobile's Motorola A630 by offering a folding candy bar-style form factor that hides a full QWERTY keyboard. The loaded VX9800 also promises dual color displays, Bluetooth, support for POP3 and IMAP4 e-mail, a 1.3-megapixel camera with flash and video-recording capability, an MP3 player, text and multimedia messaging, a wireless Web browser, syncing for e-mail and contacts, text to speech, a full-duplex speakerphone, voice commands and dialing, basic PIM functions, and a USB port.
