Tech News: The New Olympus SP-700 With A 3-Inch LCD Screen.

Today I was looking for digital cameras with a 3''” LCD the search results I kept on getting..And I came across the Olympus SP-700 digital camera. It's got 6MP, compact size, 11MB internal memory, memory card is xD picture, (some people may not like xD, but I do) a very large LCD screen 3inches with 230,000 pixels, as a matter of fact:) 3x optical zoom(38-114mm, 35mm camera equiv.), movie features: 30 frames per second for movie recording, 640 x 480, 320 x 240, 160 x 120, with sound(WAV), file format is QuickTime Motion JPEG. 24 picture modes, Still feature file format is JPEG, image sizes are, 2816 x 2112, 2288 x 1712, 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. Auto mode and 24 scene modes (incl. Portrait, Beach, Snow, Night Scene and Underwater just to name a few) for trouble-free shooting. Creative functions, like Slide Show, Compare & Shoot, Multi-shot. Histogram in shooting and playback mode. Guide Function for easy operation. Explains the different menu options and scene modes. Image editing functions on board incl. Red-eye fix, brightness, saturation, trimming, B&W and sepia, without need for a PC. Super Macro mode for shooting from 1cm. TruePic TURBO image processor. PictBridge compatible. Feature looks very good, but I'’ll wait to see how much it costs before putting in my last 2 cents. Will be in stores around Christmas time.

Cons:
Not out yet, not much is known about this camera.
